Frame Duratec Scruu 29" - a reliable partner for your long journey; Aluminium frame for 29inch wheels in geometry for rigid front fork. It has all preparing for rack and mudguards. The hydraulic rear brake hose and rear light cable are input inside to the top tube. Scruu frame is prepared for Rohloff hub. Shifting cable leading along the down tube, eccentric BB for belt fastening and opening right chainstay for belt. Dynamo hub system SON allows to utilize the power output from a long day riding for both lights and recharge electronic devices.
Expedition bike carries a lot of equipments like tent, sleeping bag, clothes, food for a few days, tools and many others for survival. The rack Tubus Cargo is suitable for two side panniers Ortlieb that are very quickly mounted and taken off the bike rack. These bags are in top quality - waterproof, produced from very durable material, waterproof zippers, lightweight. The front bag is fixed to the handlebars and it's for personal documents.
It is at least good to have your mobile phone with full battery especially you are far away from civilization. We used for expedition bike the REECHARGE power pack. It’s a personal power system that can charge most any USB-chargeable device. Through the REECHARGE power pack you are in phone connection however don't forget you need phone signal in that location.
The Rohloff is an internal hub which sits in the rear wheel. It has 14 gears and is operated by a twist shifter. The sealed gearbox ensures reliability and durability even under the toughest conditions.
