Unique solution of Canner CC1 bike or combination of aluminium frame with C.E.E carbon element located in the rear triangle of the frame. The component has the function of suspension in a range of 1-2mm, and thanks to this suspension the bike perfectly follows rougher terrain, and it adds greater stability and assurance in all descents whilst maintaining the requisite rigidity and strength during ascents.
Own production allows us to optimise the geometry of the frame and riding position on the bike so that it corresponds with the proportions of the cyclist. If we fine tune the riding position, not only will the cyclist feel very good from the aspect of ergonomics and high load, but we will also ensure optimum transmission of power for him. The frame geometry is designed for racing - the top tube and the head tube are prolonged, thus improving the riding properties and steering control. It differs from conventional frames not only in the system of dumping with a carbon C.E.E. piece, but also in complete internal cable routing, which lessens maintenance requirements of the bike. The cables for the front and rear derailleurs are conducted in Teflon guides located in the down tube and, thanks to the system of a "sandwich" bottom bracket shell, the cables come out directly at the individual components. The top and the down tubes are shaped in the direction away from the head tube so that they absorb dynamic impacts into the front wheel, thus making the frame more comfortable; the biker will especially appreciate it in marathon races (Shock Eliminator system). The design of the Biaxial S-bend seat stays and the shape of the down and top tubes have a positive effect on transfer of impacts from the bike to the biker's contact areas, i.e. "seatpost-seat" and the handlebars. The technically innovative design of the frame offers the biker an excellent price-quality ratio. The frame is very elegant and original thanks to complete internal cable routing and an integrated C.E.E. carbon piece.
Internal Teflon routing: The cables for the front and rear derailleur are routed inside the frame. The cables run through Teflon tubes braced in the frame. Thanks to the excellent friction properties of Teflon, the routing lasts a lifetime. As a result of this system there are no brazed-ons on the frame, and it has a highly compact design.
CEE carbon flexible element, the main function of which is to arrest and dampen the impacts arising during a race. The spring of the element corresponds to a range of 1-2 mm. The CEE is fixed in the rear stays via a shaped connection. The internal shape of the element is milled on a CNC machine. A frame with this element is extremely comfortable, in particular for long marathons, and on ascents it acts like a conventional solid frame.
Looking at the connection of the frame top tube and the frame head, you can't help but notice the precision hand grinding of the weld. After the completion of a weld, it is ground by hand, which eliminates the weld's surface tension and gives a highly compact appearance. A conventional bead weld typical for robotic welding is not used in the case of Duratec frames - the tubes are welded together by high-quality penetration welding, which gives a very elegant join of great strength.
In the picture the rear wheel is attached by a quick-release. But for an additional charge you can select attachment of the rear wheel on a fixed axle using the patented Syntace X-12 system. This solution significantly increases the rigidity and strength of the frame's rear triangle. It is far stronger than conventional fixing using a quick-release. In the case of a defect changing the wheel is very easy, because the wheel fits in precisely the very first time. If a fixed rear axle is chosen, the rear brake must be attached using the POST MOUNT system.
